Raising awareness of SIDS
The “This Side Up…while sleeping” campaign is an educational effort that seeks to raise awareness of SIDS and SIDS prevention.
We strive to educate parents that the safest way for their babies to sleep is on their back.
Keep me safe by:
- Placing me on my back while sleeping
- Giving me a pacifier at nap and bed time
- Keeping me out of a grown-up’s bed
- Removing all toys from my sleeping area
- Not allowing adults to smoke around me
- Keeping me from getting overheated
- Breastfeeding me as often as possible
